What is DCRA?
Digital Connectivity Rating Agencies (DCRAs) are independent agencies authorized by TRAI to evaluate and certify properties on their digital infrastructure readiness. These agencies play a crucial role in ensuring that buildings and residential/commercial complexes are equipped to support robust internet, broadband, and telecom services.

TRAI’s Mandate
Under the “Rating of Properties for Digital Connectivity Regulations, 2024”, TRAI has introduced a structured framework requiring DCRAs to assess properties on defined parameters and assign official digital connectivity ratings. This initiative ensures accountability, improves consumer awareness, and sets a benchmark for digital infrastructure in India.
